No spring will be like this one. Like every year, cherry trees are blooming, seeds are sprouting and the land is awakening but we’re not around to feel it. We can’t smell the flowers or feel the sun on our faces because we’re fighting a war – and in order to prevail we have to stay at home.
This photo series will be a reminder of a different spring – a dark one but as full of hope as every blooming cherry tree. These branches stretch towards each other trying to touch and eventually, they will. As we will hug again. And it will all have been worth it.
